District Barbershop

The District Barbershop is a “hidden gem” in what’s commonly referred to as the Hospital District. Nestled on the corner of Rosedale, the few parking spaces and small lot seemed to imply that it wasn’t a very busy establishment. This proved to be false immediately; as soon as I stepped foot through the door, I knew that this place was special. Every single chair was full (including the waiting chairs), the music was set at just the right volume, the people were super inviting and friendly, and the atmosphere was just overall enjoyable. One of the owners, Edward Ramirez, was working on a client off in the corner and greeted me as soon as I walked in. All of the barbers were extremely professional, and meshed well with the “trendy” vibe that the District was giving off. It was obvious that they had a reputation, and they demonstrated why. My son was given a complimentary haircut and I can honestly say I have never been more impressed. His barber, Alex, did an outstanding job and produced exactly what I was wanting, even though my description was pretty vague. The barbers at the District seemed to have a strong sense of what is trending at the moment and able to meet the requests of their clients, from what’s currently popular to the more classic looks that never go out of style. From the spotless appearance inside to the welcoming tone, this place is definitely worth the trip. Come enjoy a complimentary local beer and rest easy in that chair knowing that you’re going to like your look!
